Former Leicester City youngster joins Borough ahead of Stevenage clash

Eastbourne Borough have added a further new face to their squad ahead of their first pre-season friendly at Priory Lane tonight.

Ben Adams has completed a move to the club from Conference National side Ebbsfleet United and will join up with the team when they host League One outfit Stevenage this evening (Tuesday).

Adams is a graduate of Leicester City Academy and, after leaving the club, spent two years at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain.

On his reutrn to the UK, he joined up with Ebbsfleet before putting pen to paper for Borough.

After Saturday’s training session, Borough boss Tommy Widdrington said, “Both Alan and I have been aware of Ben and I am very pleased to add him to this season’s squad.

“Ben can play in a range of positions but the intention is that he joins this group of players as an attacking wide player.”

Eastbourne Borough will play Stevenage at Priory Lane tonight with a 7:30pm kick off.
