Eastbourne Borough defender Adam Watts had good reason to celebrate at Eastbourne Borough’s end of season presentation evening.
Watts received the manager’s player of the year award and also scooped the players’ player of the year trophy. Midfielder Simon Johnson received the supporters’ player of the year before their final match of the season against Staines at Priory Lane last week.
Adam Watts made 29 appearances for Eastbourne Borough this season and scored one goal.
The 25-year-old 6ft 2” defender was brought to the club by Tommy Widdrington from Lincoln City in October 2012. Watts was a consistent performer and formed a central defensive partnership with skipper Ollie Rowe who also won both awards last season.
