Tommy Widdrington has bolstered his squad with the signing of ex-Lewes and Dover Athletic defender Ian Simpemba.
Simpemba was a key player for Dover during their play-off campaign last season and has also represented Lewes, Havant and Waterlooville, Woking, Crawley and Ebbsfleet.
He was captain for Lewes during their promotion winning season to the Blue Square Premier.
The 6 ft 2” defender is known for his strength and aerial ability.
Widdrington said, “I’m delighted to have agreed to sign Ian Simpemba, most recently the lynch pin in Dover Athletics defence.
“Ian is someone I’ve admired as a player for some time and feel he will bring qualities much needed in what is essentially a young squad here at Borough.”
“I see his leadership, experience and organisational skills on the pitch as elements I’ve been looking for since arriving at the club, married with a winners mentality, I’m sure the fans will grow to like him quickly too.”
