Following the first signing of the summer last week, Simon Rowland has added four more to the Eastbourne United roster with Casey Ham, Jack Franklin, Scott Dartnell and Ben Dartnell joining the club.
Rowland got the ball rolling with the addition of experienced defender Shaun Loft at the end of last month and has now taken his tally to five with the latest cluster of deals.
Striker Ham joined the Oval from Bexhill United, where he’s spent the last two seasons, albeit it with the latter year hampered by an ankle injury that kept him out for four months. The former Little Common attacker also enjoyed a loan spell at Sidley during the 2011/12 season, scoring seven goals.
The Dartnell brothers have both previously played under Rowland at AFC Uckfield but were most recently at Seaford Town, where they played an instrumental part in helping the club win the SCFL Division Two Challenge Cup.
Franklin, meanwhile, has been plying his trade as a regular face in Sussex Division One with Rye before opting to move to the Oval.
The club’s first pre-season friendly is on Tuesday, July 16 at Lancing.
