Eastbourne United have parted company with their manager Paul Daubeney.
United narrowly missed out on promotion from County League Division Two on the final day of the season.
Daubeney’s side needed victory on the last day and for Little Common to drop points against Littlehampton - neither result went their way.
A club spokesman said, “Due to work commitments, Paul has decided to step down from his role as first team manager.
“The club will hold a committee meeting on Wednesday evening and further comment will be made following that.”
The news came a week after Hailsham Town parted company with their manager Kenny McCreadie.
