Eastbourne Town boss Danny Bloor believes his squad have come through their mid season wobble and are on track for a successful 2013.
The Town boss was full of praise for his players after they recorded back to back victories over the festive period.
Town began with a 2-1 victory over Burgess Hill and fllowed that with a fine away triumph at Three Bridges.
On Saturday they welcome struggling Whitstable to the Saffrons before Wednesday’s home game against Walton Casuals.
Bloor said, “Every good team has wobble and we have had ours.
“The two results have helped us turn the corner and we are now looking forward to a successful 2013.
“Full credit to the players, we were struggling with injuries and the results were not the best but we always felt they would arrive because our performances have been ok.
“The players showed great attitude and the team spirit remained strong.”
The next two home games provide an opportunity give Town some breathing space from the drop zone and start looking up the table.
Both Whitstable and Walton are struggling at the wrong end of the table and six points will be a welcome boost.
Bloor added, “We approach these games full of confidence. We had a good Christmas, we are getting players back from injuries and we are keen to maintain our good form.”
Matt Crabb and Matt Geard are suspended for the Walton match.
