ManagerDanny Bloor is optimistic about the play-offs for Eastbourne Town after his side have found some good form in recent games.
“We want to finish as high as possible,” he admitted yesterday.
“ Before Christmas I wasn’t thinking about the play-offs, but with the recent results why not aim as high as possible?
“We’ve picked up four good points this week and we want seven.”
Bloor believes Town, who were held to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday night, were affected by the conditions and will be hoping for a response when his side take on eighth-placed Ramsgate tomorrow.
“The conditions were awful and didnt help. The passing wasn’t great and we’ll be looking for a win this Saturday.
“To win every game between now and the rest of the season is the aim, because anything is possible in football when your playing well,” Bloor said.
Town, who lie 12th in the league table were held to a 0-0 draw when they last played Ramsgate.
Bloor believes it will be another close game.
Bloor’s men will have played their third game in a week come Saturday evening, but as a manager he is loving every moment.
“I love it. It’s that simple. As a manager i want my team to play as much as they can. You can only prepare your team so much for a game and once that first whistle goes the players take over from there,” he said.
Ahead of tomorrow’s fixture at The Saffrons (3pm), Bloor has a fully fit squad to choose from, and a win for his side could see them rise to ninth in the table.
