Extra match for Sussex and entry is free

Sussex County Cricket Club has slotted in an extra fixture at The PROBIZ County Ground in Hove this week.

Sussex Sharks will take on Sussex’s 2nd XI in a t20 match on Tuesday (June 19) with a 4pm start and entrance is free to all supporters.

With the Sharks deprived of match practice due to their first two Friends Life t20 matches being washed out last week, this extra match will serve as a home warm-up ahead of the clash with Middlesex Panthers at Hove on Friday evening.

And Sussex’s 2nd XI, who have reached the Second Eleven t20 Finals Day at Arundel on Saturday, June 30, will provide the opposition while getting themselves some short-format practice of their own as they prepare to battle it out with Essex, Worcestershire and England Under-19’s on Saturday week.

The forecast is set fair for tomorrow and England’s vital Euro 2012 clash with Ukraine will be screened live in the Spen Cama Pavilion after the match.
