Double delight for Town reserve league champions

Eastbourne Town reserves

Eastbourne Town reserves

The Sussex County Football League Reserve Premier League title was won on Saturday for the second successive season by Eastbourne Town Reserves.

Their game away to near neighbours Hailsham Town FC, at the Beaconsfield saw a victorious 3-1 win.

Having led the table for virtually the whole season, this has still proved to be a tough league to win, with just three points clear of second place Hassocks FC and seven points of third place Pagham FC who both proved to be dogged and determined opposition.

Everyone at the club this season contributed well and that special accolade of ‘Double Champions’ has been achieved.

The club Congratulated Peter Haydock and Paul Lewis, all players and all staff on this super achievement.
