Eastbourne Cricket Club’s 1st team troubles continued when they went down by 35 runs at home to Three Bridges on Saturday.
Stuart Pulford took five wickets as the visitors were bowled out for 199 at The Saffrons.
But that proved too many for Eastbourne who slipped to 164 all out in reply - taking just 12 points from the East Sussex Premier League game.
Pulborough’s shock victory over second-placed Preston Nomads leaves Eastbourne in a real dogfight at the bottom of the table.
Currently bottom are Chichester with 127 points, four behind Eastbourne (131) with Pulborough (133) moving up to third bottom.
