Eastbourne Borough boss Tommy Widdrington chats to Herald Sport one year after taking the Priory Lane managerial hotseat.

The Borough boss discusses a busy year at the club and tackles a host of subjects including, players old and new, the captaincy, his hopes for this season, plans for the future marathon running and key players such as Chris Shephard and Elliott Charles.

Widdrington, 41, was chosen for the position along with assistant Alan Kimble.

The duo replaced long serving managers Garry Wilson and Nick Greenwood at the back end of last season.

Borough, were struggling near the foot of the Blue Square South but under Widdrington and Kimble they avoided the drop into the Ryman Premier.

This season a much changed Eastbourne Borough side occupy a midtable position but hope to produce more consistent form in the second half of the season.
