Brisk 31 from Isepp helps thirds to win
Matt Isepp scored a brisk 31 as Eatbourne thirds recorded victory in a thrilling low-scoring match at the Saffrons against Firle.
On a very wet wicket Isepp top-scored and hit a couple of huge sixes as Eastbourne were all out for 91. Wickets tumbled but Sarah Lord impressed with the bat lower down the order.
Bowler Adam Blackburn claimed five wickets and Ilham Mohammadi snared three as Firle were skittled out for 85. There was also a great catch at slip for Martyn Ward when Firle were looking set for victory at 60-3.
