Possible loan move for young Albion star

Albion’s young England starlet Jake Forster-Caskey is wanted on a season long loan by a pair of League Two clubs.

Sky Sports News is reporting this afternoon that both Oxford United and Burton Albion are eyeing up a move for the highly rated midfielder, who has just signed a new deal to stay at The Amex until 2015.

Forster-Caskey impressed during a handful of first team appearances last season, being awarded man of the match on two occasions, but struggled to get a foothold in Gus Poyet’s match day squad.

With clubs having voted to go back to seven substitutes this season, Forster-Caskey is likely to be more involved but a loan move would guarantee him more regular first team action.
