EASTBOURNE thirds cruised to victory over Heathfield Park II without breaking a sweat.
Bowling first, Eastbourne, thanks in large part to Ben Barter, dismissed Heathfield’s entire order for 150.
As the home side stepped in to bat, their opener Alex Pollard hit a swift 63, ably supported by Matthew Isepp’s 55 to send Eastbourne well on their way to victory.
Isepp was Eastbourne’s only wicket of the day as Chris Borsoi stepped in to hit 19 and push Eastbourne over the line to victory.
Willingdon seconds played out a tough clash with Fletching seconds, falling 102 runs short in their run chase.
Fletching posted an impressive total of 205 all out and looked good for the win when Hartup tore through Willingdon’s top five batsmen.
He went on to grab another wicket as Willingdon fell for 103 all out.
