With Hellingly firsts enjoying a free week, attention turned to the seconds, who made it two wins on the trot with a 64-run victory over St James Montefiore.
The home side won the toss and sent Hellingly into bat. However, it didn’t go to plan at first as they lost three early wickets to Will Nichols-Rose (4/62).

Bux eventually fell for 72 to Adam Cooper, who went on to take the remaining six wickets as Hellingly were bowled out for 199.
In reply, St James started the innings well but Adam Devlin and Will Hook brought Hellingly back into the game, taking three wickets.
Simon Barrs scored 39 but had little support from the rest of the team as Greg Devlin (3/32) and Bob Pye (3/9) took the remaining wickets, sealing the comfortable victory for Hellingly, who climb out of the relegation zone for the first time this season.
Hellingly IIIs beat Rye IIs at Horsebridge on Saturday - bowling them all out for 171 before Isaac Leckie (34), Matt Ball (51) and Ben Twine (35 not out) saw their side home to victory by five wickets.
