Eastbourne Borough are still struggling to find winning form after a 1-1 draw against Histon at blustery Priory Lane on Tuesday night.
Liam Enver-Marum put Borough ahead in the 42nd minute following a good run from impressive loanee Joe Benjamin who worked hard for the entire 90 minutes.
Borough should have gone two up when they were awarded a penalty a minute into the second half following a foul on Benjamin. But Paul Armstrong's spot kick was not good enough to beat keeper Danny Naisbitt.
Bradley Hudson-Odoi levelled for Histon in the 63rd minute following a cross by Lanre Oyebanjo.
Borough have now gone nine league games without a win and have just one more league game (against Cambridge United on Saturday week) at Priory Lane before the end of the year.
On Saturday, they hit the road again when they make the long trip to crisis club Chester followed by a Tuesday night encounter away to Hayes and Yeading United.
It was also a disappointing Tuesday night for Eastbourne Town who were beaten 1-0 away to bottom of the table Whitstable.
Full reports of both games will appear in this Friday's Eastbourne Herald.
