Eastbourne cricketers kept their Sussex Premier League title hopes alive with a 30-point haul in their six-wicket victory over Three Bridges at the Saffrons yesterday.
Bridges were dismissed for 166 with James Kirtley taking 3-27, Ollie Rayner 2-32 and Tom Smith 2-40.

The Saffrons side confortably reached their winning target, wicket-keeper Ben Brown celebrating his call-up for England u-21s with a fine 74.

Angus Stewart made an unbeaten 41 while Smith was unbeaten on 40.

Cuckfield are the new leaders following a 42-run victory at Brighton & Hove with Preston Nomads in second place after their thrilling one-wicket win at Hastings.

Eastbourne are 26 runs behind the leaders but have two games in hand.

Eastbourne 2nd XI lost at Three Bridges by 23 runs.They were all out for 205 in response to Bridges' 228-6 declared and picked up 11 points.
