End of Open dream for Collier

Royal Eastbourne assistant professional Laurence Collier carded a second round 89 to blow any chance of qualifying for this month's Open Championships.
In a final qualifier held at Hillside Golf Club in Lancashire, Collier required a top four finish to progress to the Open at Royal Birkdale.
After qualifying from the regional stage held at Royal Ashdown, Collier, 20, hit a first round 74 at Hillside and was tied 20th on two-over.
But six bogeys and five double bogeys in a nightmare second round ended his Open dream - for this year at least - as Collier finished tied 82nd on 19-over-par.
