EASTBOURNE Borough's travelling arrangements have been thrown into turmoil after being told that Thursday's play-off final against Hampton & Richmond is at Stevenage Borough's ground after all.
On Friday, the message from the Conference League was that the biggest game in Borough's history had been switched from Stevenage to Ebbsfleet FC.

But yesterday, the club was told, without reason, that Stevenage FC would DEFINITELY be the venue, k
ick-off 7.30pm.

"The whole thing has been a nightmare," said vice-chairman Mick Grimer. "We have now got to make new arrangements with the bus companies and fans who thought they were going to Ebbsfleet have got to review time off arrangments. It's a shambles."

Chief executive Mike Spooner added, "At least Saturday's programme was right. We then thought it was at Stevenage."

Wilson's promotion seekers will face third-placed Hampton & Richmond, who came through an energy-sapping semi-final against Fisher Athletic, winning 4-2 on penalties.

Wilson, however, is just glad the match is not at Wembley. Wilson said, "I was asked if I would rather be playing at Wembley but I said that's the last place I want to be.If you play somewhere like that the focus goes from playing and doing the business.

"We have played at Stevenage before; there is nothing to look at and we can get on with the job."

Fans can book their seat on the coach to Stevenage between 6.30pm and 7.30pm at Priory Lane on Wednesday night when payment should be made Ground admission: seating, £15 adults (concessions £10); standing, £13 adults (concessions £8). Coach leaves 4.30pm.
