SEAHAVEN FM is back on the air next week (August 18) for a 28 day broadcast.
You can stay up late for the start of the broadcast at midnight or catch it during the day on 87.7FM.
This is the station's second test broadcast. The first was in March, during which the team had a huge response from residents and businesses in the
area.
After this 28 day test broadcast, Seahaven FM is preparing its application for the full time licence and it is hoped the results of whether this is successful will be known at the beginning of next year.
The summer broadcast will see the Seahaven FM team out and about. The first major event they will be attending is the Lions' Donkey Derby on Bank Holiday Monday.
Nick Mallinson, MD at Seahaven FM, whose dream it is to bring Seaford, Newhaven and Peacehaven their own radio station said, "We have been broadcasting 24 hours a day from our website since our first FM test in March and have built up a loyal listenership, which we hope to build on during this FM test in readiness for the future."
Seahaven FM is always looking for local clubs and organisations, who need to promote their activities and local people with an interesting story to tell, please get in touch either via the website www.seahavenfm.com or by telephone 891424.
