A ROAD in Seaford was closed after high winds caused part of a roof to come off a building.
The A259 at Station Approach was shut on Monday following damage to Claremont Quays.

Firefighters were called to the scene and Sussex Police requested the emergency closure. This is likely to remain in force today (Wednesday) and tomorrow.

A diversion route for traffic is in place via the seafront.
It is the second time damage to the roof of the building has caused nearby roads to close.
