AN ELDERLY Seaford couple have been reunited with their lost dog.
Last week Sandy Harrold, of Raymond Close, urged residents to keep an eye out for her neighbour's seven-year-old poodle Rio after she slipped her collar as they returned home with the new pet.

The couple had decided to get a new dog after their other poodle Aero, who they had had for many years, recently died.

Rio, who had been spotted last Monday evening in different locations in Seaford, was finally found in Vale Road on Tuesday (November 4) afternoon.

Mrs Harrold said Rio's owners were delighted when she was returned, "They were crying with joy and are absolutely over the moon."

She would like to thank all the community for their support, especially Phil, Phil's son Jamie, and Stuart, who managed to catch Rio.
