A REQUEST by the Seaford Head Nature Reserve Management Team (SHNRMC) for an annual grant of £250 has been turned down by Seaford Town Council.
The matter was discussed by members of the finance and general purposes committee last week, along with other items on the agenda.

The SHNRMC had put forward the request to help with the running of the nature reserve rather than applying annually through the grant application scheme.

The town council allocates annual grants to various organisations in the town including Seaford in Bloom, Seaford Community Partnership and the Blatchington Pond Committee.
