SEAFORD has got its own Dial A Hubby service after a resident joined up with the business.
The organisation is the only social enterprise franchise in the country and employees are on hand to take on various tasks from fitting blinds to blowing up paddling pools.

Neil Bassett has recently joined the team and will cover the Seaford and E
astbourne area.

Dial A Hubby employees undertake tasks that benefit the vulnerable and elderly in the community as well as earning a living through a business.

The firm was founded and designed by Stephen Murray, who was born in Eastbourne.

It has gone on to be recently nominated a finalist in the prestigious Franchise Marketing awards 2008.

Neil, who had been in his last job for 14 years, decided he wanted a change and joined the fold after spotting a sign giving the franchise opportunity details near Drusillas.

Neil said, "One of the biggest questions on my mind was, what is Stephen's vision for Dial A Hubby?

"His response surprised me, but it just fitted in with my own aspirations. He said, everyone should have someone to call."

For more information please visit www.dial-a-hubby.com or call the operations centre on 0870 1993 007.

Alena72,

sussex 10/09/2008 15:00:14
I was using this service in sussex for the past 5 years and it is a marvelous service for helping people like myself(not quite as young as i used to be).
I have moved inland a bit in Kent and iam distraught that there is NO Dial a hubby service anywhere near.

Seaford & Eastbourne you are so lucky,so lucky in fact that iam contemplating moving back down to Sussex.
I cant survive without my hubby's.
