Denim and DNA day at Alfriston School
Published Date:

YOUNGSTERS at Alfriston School swapped their school uniform for jeans to raise money for children with genetic disorders.
All pupils and staff took part in the event and raised nearly £100 for Jeans for Genes.
The children also made gingerbread men in their classes and decorated them with blue jeans.
There are more than 4,000 recognised genetic disorders and many of these conditions have no current treatment or cure.
Each year Jeans for Genes offer grants to a range of genetic charities.
