It is the second event in the programme of activities to mark the special occasion.
While dancers glide around the ballroom on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, in Seaford partners will be swung and willow stripped!
The doors open at Seaford Constit
utional Club, Crouch Lane, from 7pm.
Dancing will begin at 7.30pm, breaking for a ploughman's supper and more dancing until 10.30pm. There will be a licensed bar throughout the evening and a special raffle.
Tickets are £10 for adults, £7 for children (under 14) and £30 for a family (two adults, two children). These can be purchased from Linda's Stores, Bishopstone Station, on 899486 or Seaford Constitutional Club on 890087.
Organisers are looking forward to welcoming Mike Harrison who, with his cousin, form the comedy double act Hope and Keen. He is also an established artist, exhibiting in the UK and abroad.
To support the anniversary year, Mike has donated one of his paintings to be raffled on the night and will be presenting the lucky winner with this unique prize.
The anniversary programme of events continues with a traditional Sussex Christmas event exploring the history and traditions of Christmas in the county on December 6 at Bishopstone Parish Hall. The evening promises an excellent start to the festive season with a chance to hear and even take part in a Mummers play with an accompaniment of mince pies and mulled wine for all.
Tickets, which will be limited in number, will be available from Linda's Stores, Bishopstone Station, at £7 a head.
In the New Year the hall will be hosting a 1940s themed whist drive on Saturday January 24 at 7.30pm, with entry at £2 per person. All players will be welcomed and are encouraged to wear something appropriate to add to the lighthearted spirit of the occasion.
Many other events are planned for 2009 and details of these will be published at a later date.
