POLEGATE Windmill has re-opened for this year's season.
The tourist site is currently undergoing major renovation work.
The floor boards have been replaced and all the shutters are being given a fresh coat of paint.
Renovaters have applied for a £40,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
New carpets and chairs have also been laid in the educational room.
Polegate Windmill is open every Sunday from Easter until October.
