More than 250 people braved the rain on Sunday to pay their respects to those who lost their lives in the war.
The Seaford Silver Band played on Remembrance Day, followed by the laying of wreaths at the war memorial in the town.

Seaford Mayor Councillor Ralph Taylor and Ray Elliott, president of the Royal British Legion Seaford branch, were in attendance alongside a number of other key figures and organisations, such as the Navy, Royal Air Forces Association, NPS Lions and Seahaven Lionesses, St John Ambulance and the police.

Following the Last Post a poignant two-minute silence was held. Prayers were said before a march to St Leonard's Church.

The Boys Brigade Band, The Standards, The Army Cadets and the Scouts were among those who took part in the march.

A special service was then held at the church.
