The emergency services put on the 19th annual 999 display on the Western Lawns at the weekend.
The ever-popular two-day event gave the public the chance to watch at close hand displays by East Sussex Fire and Rescue, Sussex Police, Sussex Ambulance Service, the Royal Navy, the Coastguard and Eastbourne RNLI lifeboats.

Demonstrations included a cliff rescue, police dogs, chip pan fire, lifeboat demonstration, resuscitation and whale rescue, alongside examples of vintage emergency vehicles.

The event closed on Sunday with the police, ambulance service and fire brigade joining forces for a dramatic reconstruction of cutting injured people out of a car crash.
