Crowds of people headed to Eastbourne Bandstand this Christmas to enjoy the traditional free Christmas and Boxing Day concerts.
A long-standing tradition, the concerts began in 1935 when the bandstand was first built and have continued ever since.

Organised by Eastbourne Borough Council, the concerts regularly attract around 4,000 revellers, with the more daring even enjoying a refreshing Boxing Day swim.

Eastbourne Silver Band provided the entertainment on Christmas Day, with classic Christmas carols in a traditional Christmas celebration.

The bandstand came to life on Boxing Day when Sounds Easy with the Ray Campbell Band played popular Christmas hits from 11am to 12.30pm, with people dancing along to the tunes.
