Glamorous dresses and smart suits were the order of the day when pupils from Bishop Bell took over the Cavendish Hotel for the night.
Their prom night was a great success with the teenagers arriving in a variety of forms of transport to the seafront hotel.

Headteacher Terry Boatwright said, ''The prom was a lovely event and a fitting culmination to the time a wonderful year group spent at this school.

''Staff and pupils thoroughly enjoyed the evening and everyone, especially the young people, looked fabulous.

''Particularly impressive and innovative were those who booked the Dotto Train, replete with Bishop Bell Prom banner.''
