Celebrity style gurus Trinny and Susannah are calling on the women of Eastbourne to help them in their latest mission to transform the Long Man of Wilmington — into a woman.
The stunt is part of the style experts' brand new ITV series, Trinny and Susannah Undress the Nation, which will be filmed at the Sussex landmark this Sunday and Monday.
In a quest to encourage British women to dress for their body shape and not their size they have taken on the ultimate challenge — to change the masculine Sussex landmark into the feminine form.
They are looking for enthusiastic, intrepid women in the local area who can volunteer to help them reshape the Long Man of Wilmington into a woman by forming a human sculpture.
Women up for the challenge of temporarily transforming the mysterious guardian of the South Downs will need to be available for a day's choreography rehearsal on Sunday July 1 and for filming the following day.
A spokesperson for the show said, "With the hillside figure standing at 227 feet tall on the steep slopes of Windover Hill, it's certainly a mammoth challenge and is going to take every available woman of Sussex to achieve the task.
"This Sussex landscape make-over will be broadcast as part of Trinny and Susannah's new five part series, where the girls tackle some of the country's major clothing issues."
Trinny and Susannah Undress the Nation sees the straight talking style experts tackle breasts, age, uniforms, men and size and the series will transmit later this year on ITV1.
