What happens in rush hour?

Of course Dr Foulkes is going to support the decision of his NHS bosses to close the DGH cardiology dept (Herald letters, September 23).

I have been whisked into this department twice recently by ambulance, and had first class treatment.

Being stuck in rush hour traffic on the way to Hastings or Brighton could be enough to give anyone another heart attack and at the very least be very upsetting.

The government always seem to have millions available to get involved in other countries’ problems. It’s time our hospitals were given priority.
