What about the medics?

Have your say

With ambulances making all these extra journeys to Hastings now, it is obvious there are going to be more and more occasions when one is not available when urgently required. Getting to the Conquest must take up about two hours - the journey there, admitting the patient, and returning to Eastbourne.

If doing an eight-hour shift this would involve two paramedics and an ambulance taking up a quarter of their time. Did the top medics not realise that extra ambulances and paramedics would be required when they made these decisions?
