MY HUSBAND and I are here from the States for a while, and we returned from a day out in London last night, quite exhausted. We were not encouraged to see an extremely large number of teenage students get on the train at Victoria, bound for Eastbourne and Hastings.
I was sorry to see some older passengers who got on at later stops were going to have to stand. However, not long into the journey, we realised these visiting, Italian teenagers were very mature and well-mannered.
We quite enjoyed their presence, and their parents and adult companions have much to be proud of with regard to how these teens handle themselves.
