Thanks to staff at Eastbourne DGH

THE Fisher family would like to express our sincere thanks to all the staff at the Eastbourne District General Hospital for the treatment of Maurice over the last few months.

From the time our GP, Dr Eyre, contacted the hospital, we have received excellent treatment and care from all the staff we came into contact with.

The family particularly appreciate Mr Aldridge’s (the surgeon’s), concern that we all understood what was to happen before, during and after the operation.

This resulted in the family felling reassured throughout the care.

We would also like to especially thank all the nursing staff on Hailsham Ward 4, the Macmillan Nurse and our Enhanced Recovery Nurse for their devoted care and attention, both of Maurice and ourselves.

We could not fault the attention which we received from all at the hospital.
