ON Thursday, May 5, at 9.10am I was walking to the Langney Centre, and whilst passing the bus stop in Langney Rise (corner of Priory Road) I stumbled badly, and fell headlong on to the pavement, cutting my head badly, also abrasions to my knees and arms, etc.
Immediately, a very kind lady with several others came to my aid.
She laid me on a blanket, told me not to move, and proceeded to call for an ambulance, which arrived 20 minutes later taking me to the DGH.
I am now well on the mend, but I never had an opportunity to thank this Good Samaritan, so perhaps you could print a little piece in your good paper.
