THE cycle lanes are great coming from either Pevensey or from Polegate and along the seafront. They then finish at Fisherman’s Green, making you go onto the road at probably the most dangerous point along the front.
The stretch of promenade from Fisherman’s Green to the Langham Hotel was trialled several years ago as a cycle lane, and was turned down. Now that it appears there has been a re-think about cycling, surely this can be put back into place immediately?
That area of the promenade is never really busy, no matter what time of the year.
This would add to the areas that families are able to cycle along the seafront without having to manoeuvre along that dangerous stretch of road?
