Raise a glass to the coffee shop

At last! I’ve visited Caffe Coro, the new addition to the shops in Albert Parade, and what a pleasure it was for me, my friend Joan, and her daughter Joanna, who was over from New York.

The coffee was excellent, and the ‘warmed’ cheese scones really hit the spot. The service was very good, the prices quite acceptable, and the site where Threshers used to be, gives customers plenty to look at.

Altogether a worthwhile visit, that will be repeated ere long. When I first arrived here in 1982 Albert Parade had a nice village feel to it, but somehow that faded away, but with the arrival of the Fresh Fish shop, Pixels 2 Canvas and now Corros things seem to be back on track and I couldn’t have better service than Kampsons, and if it were not for the essential cars everything would be hunky-dory!
