I would like to say a big thank you to all who performed in the Summer Ice Spectacular on Friday August 26.
It was a stunning show and I didn’t know until I checked my emails on Wednesday afternoon that I had won four tickets from the Visit Eastbourne competition.
The evening was a pleasant one, except for an able-bodied person trying to jump the queue for the lift. I was putting my chair legs down ready to go in when said person started pushing past my husband.
The lift attendant saw this and said, ‘I don’t think so, this person is before you’. I would love to be able-bodied again – where is the respect and manners of today?
Perhaps said able-bodied person would like my life of relying on carers for everything.
