LETTER: Your kindness so appreciated

I would like to thank the exceptionally helpful passers-by who came to my rescue when I had a really nasty trip (severely injuring forehead and nose) near Eastbourne Town Hall on Tuesday, November 14, at about 5pm.

Particular thanks are due to Vicky, first on the scene, and to Gareth George and his wife (plus young child) who ferried me to A&E at the DGH.

Eastbourne is fortunate in having such people who will give selflessly of their time and expertise.
