LETTER: Thanks for your support

The Mid-Sussex and Eastbourne Branch of the RSPCA wishes to thank all visitors to the Arndale Centre on Saturday, May 9, who supported our fundraising tombola.

There were many lovely prizes to be won, including bottles of wine, chocolates and biscuits, most of had been donated by friends and members of the local branch. A total of £218 was raised for branch funds.

If anyone is interested we will be having a Wine and Cheese Evening, which will also include our Annual General Meeting, for all members and supporters on Thursday, May 28, commencing at 7.30pm at St Saviour’s Church Hall, Spencer Road, Eastbourne.

Our speaker this year is Ruth Narracott from Canine Partners who will be accompanied by assistance dog, Kerly, to demonstrate the ways in which a canine partner helps people of reduced mobility.
