LETTER: Pavements are dangerous

I’m a carer for the elderly and I work in Southfields Road where there are many homes for them. Many of my clients have had falls or simply cannot get past raised areas on the pavements due to their poor state. There are broken paving stones and huge tree stumps, or it’s simply too narrow for a stroller or wheelchairs. I would like to see something done about this because many who have had falls have simply deteriorated in their health.
