LETTER: Memorial at scene of crash

The Remembrance weekend and the Herald reporting of the trouble at the Butts Brow memorial site reminded me of a crash site at Crowlink where a returning bomber, trying to land at the Friston airfield, crashed and burst into flames killing the crew.

This is a site I pass several times a year and it is passed by hundreds of walkers all the time.

I would like to see this site marked and given the same status as Butts Brow to mark their sacrifice.
