LETTER: I will not be visiting Lidl again

Have your say

I am writing in regard to the article your newspaper printed on October 27 relating to the changes that Lidl is making to its parking times. But are they now going to introduce that all patrons using their car park are going to be requested to register their vehicle registration number, if you fail to do this your vehicle will receive a ticket. Being a Blue Badge holder our badge has the arrival time on display, but Lidl needs not to worry about our vehicle as I will not be visiting their store again. All the other main and bigger supermarkets – Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, Waitrose and Morrisons – do not request that patrons using the free car parking facilities have to register their details. I think they have crossed the line with this and I don’t think I will be alone in this thinking.
