LETTER: A27 ‘a glorified country lane’

Just recently we visited Amsterdam. All the way from Calais right across Northern France, Belgium and Holland we travelled on well-lit, three-lane, double track roads.

Meanwhile, here in the UK our roads are fast deteriorating. The A27, for example, an important commercial artery, is becoming nothing more than a glorified country lane.

What happened to the £75million promised for a few cosmetic repairs?

We know our MP Caroline Ansell is doing her best to get a two-lane highway built, but when will something happen?
