I agree with the link made between the Prime Minister giving £2m of tax payers’ money to the private company owning the insured pier, and the loss of obstetricians at DGH. How many doctors would £2m buy?
This is the man who said the NHS was safe in his hands. Since the Coalition’s Health and Social Care Act came into force, 70 per cent of NHS contracts have gone to private companies; and the Act now allows NHS hospitals to give 49 per cent of their services to private patients. I shall be voting for an MP who will work to repeal the Act before the whole of the NHS is privatised.
