I’d like to make up my own mind

AS ONE of those disappointed by the cancellation of Exit International’s workshop, I welcome Annemarie Field’s column (Herald, February 25) supporting the cause of free speech in Eastbourne.

She demonstrates the Herald is willing to air all sides of the argument on this controversial subject. And where else would those anxious venue owners have feared suffering ‘adverse publicity’?

I’d like to hear what Dr Nitschke has to say, so I can make up my own mind.

Perhaps next time your newspaper gives publicity to a planned workshop, you might use the term ‘peaceful pill’ rather than ‘Dr Death’ in the headline?
