How can MP sleep after Health Bill?

STEPHEN LLOYD has frequently expressed his support for maintaining Eastbourne DGH and its facilities.

So we can only hope he will not experience too many sleepless nights as a result of voting for the Health Bill which is now most likely to become law in England.

Presumably he could shrug off the fact that the Bill did not feature in either governing party manifesto, or in the Coalition agreement.

The minor amendments accepted by the government will have negligible effect on the damage to healthcare which will be felt by people in this country; unless, of course, they happen to be private patients.

COLIN CLARKE,

Hartfield Road.
