ST Wilfrid’s Hospice would like to take the opportunity to publicly thank Hobbs Recovery Services for saving the day by donating their time at the last minute, and on a Saturday, to assist with taking down the 20ft Christmas tree at the hospice in Mill Gap Road.
As a local charity the hospice relies heavily on the support of the community and Hobbs Recovery Services kindly stepped up to the challenge and brought their recovery crane along to the site to remove the tree that had been lit up by many sponsored lights, in memory of loved ones, for our Lights of Love service in 2010.
We are so lucky to have people and businesses in the community willing to lend their support, at short notice, in so many ways and with such enthusiasm.
A huge thank you to all at Hobbs for coming to our rescue and helping us with this mammoth task.
